OBM stands for Online Business Manager. But then what is an OBM and what do they do? OBMs live in the now and bring a strong understanding of what is required to bring the business owner’s vision to life. ← This is exactly what I do as an OBM
There are many benefits to hiring a Certified OBM, but I would say the main one is this:
An OBM is in your business with you.
What does an OBM do?
Your OBM is managing your day-to-day activities. They are part of the team. An OBM makes sure the right things get done, at the right time, in the right way, and by the right person. Your OBM is rolling up their sleeves to drive projects and ensure your business meets its goals. An OBM is a true success partner in the journey, with you every step of the way.
The truth is, it can be lonely in your own business. Even when you have a team, it can feel as if it’s still all on your shoulders to move things forward … to make sure stuff is getting done … to ensure the team has what they need … to lay out strong systems and a foundation for sustainable success.
You can get to the point where yes, you are making money, but your business has become a real drag. The weight of it can become a burden that gets increasingly heavier.
Coaching support is essential. Strategic support is important as well. Masterminds are great. You need all these as a leader, but they aren’t in the business with you day to day.
What is an OBM? Imagine having someone in your business who cares about it as much as you do … who shows up each day in service of your mission and clients … who considers your success to be their success!
That’s what it means to hire a Certified OBM.
